and Promoting Development
Implemented annually under the auspices of the LUO Foundation, the LUO Convention is a global platform providing a nexus for unity in the Luo Community[cite: 3]. We gather to celebrate, share, nurture, and preserve Luo culture, Art, and promote Development in and among Communities[cite: 78].
The 2026 convention in Canada brings together the wider global Luo Community, including the Acholi, Alur, Lango, Jopadhola, Acholi Labwor, Copee, and Jonam[cite: 80]. Join us for networking, investment panels, cultural showcases, and collaborative dialogues designed to foster sustainable development.
